3 Quick Breakfast Ideas

quick breakfast ideas

Some days of the week are not like the usual ones…you feel like having something good in breakfast but the clock is not letting you do so, for those days I am sharing 3 quick breakfast ideas using bread that are super easy to make and super delicious as well! The 3 Quick Breakfast Ideas recipes are simple and had been curated for someone who’s a newbie at cooking!

My 3 quick breakfast ideas use bread as the common ingredient and take about 15-20 in making with 5-10 min of preparation. So without wasting much time…let’s begin!

1. Paneer Sandwich under 3 quick breakfast

  • Preparation Time: 5 min
  • Cooking Time: 15 min
  • Serves 4 sandwiches
  • Tbsp = Table Spoon
  • Tsp = Tea Spoon

Ingredients:

Paneer – 1 cup, crumbled

Bread slices – 8 (I have used wheat bread)

Pyaz (Onion) – 1 small, finely chopped

Tamatar (Tomato) – 1 small, finely chopped

Hari Dhaniya (Green Coriander Leaves) – few strands, finely chopped (if available)

Hari Mirch (Green Chilli) – 1, finely chopped

Lemon – ½

Salt – 1 tsp

Lal Mirch Powder (Red Chilli Powder) – ½ tsp

Chaat Masala – 1 tsp

Ghee/Butter for grilling (optional)

Method:

Take a bowl and add paneer, pyaz, tamatar, hari mirch, lal mirch powder, chaat masala and salt. Mix everything together and squeeze the lemon, mix once again once done with the lemon.

Divide your filling into 4 equal parts and put it one by one in between 2 bread slices to get 4 sandwiches.

Now put your grilling pan or normal pan over medium flame, if you are using an electric grill then preheat it for 10 sec. You can put your sandwiches, 1 or 2 at a time on the pan or into the electric grill and grill it till it turns golden brown (if you are using ghee/butter you can brush it over the sandwiches after turning them once)

Repeat the same for all the 4 sandwiches. Your Paneer Sandwiches are ready to be served with ketchup or chutney of your choice!

2. Bread Uttapam under 3 quick breakfast

  • Preparation Time: 5 min
  • Cooking Time: 15 min
  • Serves 4-5 Bread Uttapams
  • Tbsp = Table Spoon
  • Tsp = Tea Spoon

Ingredients:

Suji (Rava or Semolina) – ½ cup

Bread – 4 slices

Dahi (Curd) – ½ cup

Water

Pyaz (Onion) – 1 small, finely chopped

Tamatar (Tomato) – 1 small, finely chopped

Shimla Mirch (Capsicum) – 1/2, finely chopped

Hari Mirch (Green Chilli) – 1, finely chopped

Hari Dhaniya (Green Coriander Leaves) – few strands, finely chopped (if available)

Salt – 1 tsp

Dhaniya powder (Coriander Powder) – ½ tsp

Lal Mirch Powder (Red Chilli Powder) – ½ tsp

Oil for greasing the tawa

Method:

Take a bowl and add suji, dahi, pyaz, tamatar, shimla mirch, hari mirch, hari dhaniya, salt, dhaniya powder and mix nicely, add ½ cup or more water if required. The batter has to be thick not runny.

Once the batter is ready, and you have time then keep it aside for 10 min, else you can also start immediately, it won’t affect the taste much!

Put the tawa over a medium flame, take a slice of bread in your hand and spread the batter over it uniformly on one side. Once the tawa is hot, grease it with oil and put the bread slice over it, so that the Uttapam batter side is in contact with the tawa. If you have space on your tawa, repeat the same process with one more slice of bread and place it alongside the 1st bread slice.

Let the Uttapam batter be fully cooked, then flip the bread to other side let it turn golden brown.

Repeat the same process with the remaining bread slices and batter.

Your Bread Uttapams are ready to be served hot with ketchup!

3. Bread Pizza under 3 quick breakfast

  • Preparation Time: 5 min
  • Cooking Time: 15 min
  • Serves 4-5 Bread pizzas
  • Tbsp = Table Spoon
  • Tsp = Tea Spoon

Ingredients:

Bread – 4 slices

Cheese – ½ cup, grated

Paneer – ½ cup grated (Optional)

Pyaz (Onion) – 1 small, chopped into long thin slices

Tamatar (Tomato) – 1 small, finely chopped

Shimla Mirch (Capsicum) – 1/2, chopped into long thin slices

Gajar (Carrot) – 1/4, chopped into long thin slices

Hari Mirch (Green Chilli) – 1, finely chopped

Salt – 1 tsp

Chat Masala – ½ tsp

Lal Mirch Powder (Red Chilli Powder) – ½ tsp

Tomato ketchup – 2 tbsp

Oregano Seasonings – ½ tsp (if available)

Any Pizza spread/sauce (if available)

Method:

Take a bowl and add grated cheese, paneer, pyaz, tamatar, shimla mirch, hari mirch, gajar mix everything together and add salt, chat masala, lal mirch powder and give them a good mix.

Now take a kadhai or deep frying pan and at its base place a stand or a stainless plate, so that it elevates the surface of the kadhai/pan. Place it over a medium flame.

Now take a bread slice and spread your pizza sauce and tomato ketchup on its base and uniformly, then sprinkle it with the vegetable-paneer-cheese mix. Once the bread slice is ready put it over the plate or stand at the base of your kadhai/pan, cover the lid and lower the flame for 2-3 min. After 2-3 min remove the lid to check if the cheese is melt, if yes then your bread pizza is ready.

Repeat the same process for rest of the bread slices and your Bread Pizzas are ready to be served hot with your choice of ketchup.
