If you want to surprise your family or friends with some sweet dish that you have made from scratch then this is what you should try- This is recipe is super simple and easy to prepare and you can sweeten it according to your requirement, with the pleasure of preparing it all by yourself!

The main catch of the dish is it’s simple process and less number of ingredients that need no rocket science to prepare.

Good to serve 4 people

Bread- 8 Slices with sides removed

Milk- ½ litre

Milkmaid- 4 Spoons

Sugar- 4 spoons or according to your taste

Fresh Cream- 4 spoons

Cardamom- 2 (powdered)

Kesar (saffron) – 1 pinch

Remove the sides of the bread and put 1 spoon of milkmaid between 2 slices and divide it in 4 pieces, repeat the same with all the slices and spread them across on a big flat plate (as can be seen in the picture)

Now take the milk in a pan, boil it for 15min while stirring it continuously, after that add sugar, kesar and powdered cardamoms.

When the milk mixture is ready, pour it over the bread-milkmaid sandwiches while it is still hot, as seen in the picture, so that all the slices are dipped in milk.

Now garnish the bread slices with cream and refrigerate for half an hour.

Serve it chilled.
