Chilli Paneer Roll

If you have a little amount of paneer and vegetables left with you but you still want to enjoy some Indo-Chinese cuisine, then this recipe for Chilli Paneer Roll is best for you! The recipe for Chilli Paneer Roll is quite simple and it takes really less time for preparation as compared to the mainstream Chilli Paneer or Paneer Manchurian.

This can be a tasty Breakfast or snack option on the go so do try it whenever you crave for some easy Indo-Chinese snacking option!

  • Cooking Time: 30 min
  • Serves 4 Rolls
  • Tbsp = Table Spoon
  • Tsp = Tea Spoon


Atta (Wheat Flour) – 1 cup (If you want you can use Maida (All-Purpose Flour)

Maida (All-Purpose Flour) – 1 tbsp

Oil – 3 tbsp

Paneer – 50gm

Shimla Mirch – ¼, chopped into small pieces

Hari Mirch (Green Chilli) -1, finely chopped

Pyaz (Onion) – ½, chopped into small pieces

Gajar (Carrot) – ¼, chopped into small pieces

Adrak- Lehsun(Ginger-Garlic) paste- ½ tsp

Hara Lehsun (Spring onions) – few pieces, finely chopped (If Available)

Salt – 1 tbsp

Tomato Ketchup – 1 tbsp

Soya Sauce – 1 tsp

Vinegar – 1 tsp

Chilli Sauce – 1 tbsp



Take a bowl and add Atta, ¼ tbsp salt and mix. Now add water in small amounts and knead a soft dough, when the dough is ready put ½ tbsp oil over it and knead it again to even soften the dough more. Cover it with a lid and keep aside.

Once you are done with the dough, put a sauté pan over a medium flame, add 2 tbsp of oil into it. Take all the cut vegetables in a bowl and add Maida, ¼ tbsp of salt, mix all of these without water.

Put these vegetables and ginger garlic paste in the pan and shallow fry, once the vegetables turn light brown and get cooked, add tomato ketchup, soya sauce, vinegar, chilli sauce, and ½ tbsp salt, mix everything together nicely and fry for a minute.

Take a dough out and divide into 4 portions, roll it into thin round chapattis. Put a tawa over medium flame, put the chapattis one by one and half cook them without oil from both the sides. Repeat the same process for all the 4 chapattis.

Now put one chapatti on the tawa and apply oil on both the sides and cook until brown. Now put the stuffing at the centre and roll the chapatti to make a roll. Repeat the same for all the chapattis.

Note: If you want you can put some mayonnaise in the rolls
