Ingredients for Homemade Coconut Milk:
Nariyal (Brown, hairy Coconut) – 1
Muslin cloth piece- 1 medium size
Water – 2 cups
Methodology for Homemade Coconut Milk:
Take the Nariyal and remove its outer hairy cover. Now, you have to break open the hard shell and take out the white flesh (you can also use a coconut scrapper for this!
Cut the Nariyal Giri into small pieces and take one cup of giri in the grinder jar, add 2 cups of water.
Now, you have to grind the mixture well for about 2-3 minutes. Use a muslin cloth to squeeze out the milk and separate the left over pulp!
Even the leftover pulp can be used in many ways – like using it as a body scrubber, using it as a manure for plants, etc.
Your healthy, tasty Coconut Milk is ready. You can consume it as it is or even store it for 2-3 days in the refrigerator. Don’t forget to shake it well before use.
