When you have to stay at home in order to save the nation….the only pain that haunts is the desire for tasty, lip-smacking food!!
In that case the only solution is cooking it yourself….and I am here for your rescue.
This is quite an easy recipe with very few ingredients and definitely a must try!
(Serves 6 full sandwiches)
Maida- 4 Table Spoons
Milk- 1 glass
Ghee- 3 Table Spoons
Capsicum- 1 medium sized, finely chopped
Onion- 1 medium sized, finely chopped
Carrot- 1 medium sized, finely chopped
Tomato- 1 medium sized, finely chopped( without the central part)
Green chillies- 2
Take a shallow frying pan, add ghee and maida to it and fry at low flame till the maida turns light brown. Now turn off the flame, and add milk in small quantities while mixing, in order to have a smooth mixture. Once a not very thin mixture is formed put the pan over the flame for next 2-3 minutes.
After that switch off the flame and add the vegetables to the mixture, give a good mix and add salt.
White sauce is ready, now spread it over a slice of bread and sprinkle some chaat masala over it, now place the other slice of bread over it. Repeat the same for all other slices.
This sandwich can be grilled or can be enjoyed even without grilling….tastes equally good in any case! Enjoy.
